Kentucky Golden Eagles, founded September of 2023, is a Non-Profit 501(c)(3) Organization aimed at youth development through track and field based in Richmond, KY. We are open to athletes in Madison and surrounding counties! KGE is a certified club of Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) with a focus on athletes in K-5th grades, although we are opening up registration to 6th-12th grade athletes in 2025. We are a competitive travel team that competes in AAU and other local and regional track meets in the outdoor season. We also offer non-competition short term training sessions for athletes.
KGE is the only county wide track and field club in Madison County, KY that focuses on elementary aged athletes. For the 2025 season, we are offering 6th-12th grade athletes an opportunity to join the club after their school track season is completed.
We exist to expose young athletes to the fundamentals of track and field; develop disciplined, talented athletes; helping them soar to new heights of achievement and growth that will benefit themselves and the community at large. We also serve to foster a competitive but family friendly environment.

Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) Junior Olympic
Qualifiers!!!
Kentucky Golden Eagles had 5 athletes who qualified in 6 combined events for the AAU Junior Olympics at Regionals!!! Two of our athletes won Region 6 (KY/TN/AL) Championship Gold Medals!! A couple of our KGE athletes also earned a 2nd and 3rd place medal too!

Micah Lewis (boys 9-10) took 3rd place in Shot Put with a throw of 20-8 at the 2024 KTCCCA Elementary State Championship track & field meet on 5/18/24 in Goshen, Ky!
Zaiden Harvey (boys 9-10) took 4th place in Turbo Jav with a throw of 58-9 at the 2024 KTCCCA Elementary State Championship track & field meet on 5/18/24 in Goshen, Ky!
DONATION ALERT!!
Look what we received! A HUGE box full of donated running shoes from Running Warehouse!! These shoes will benefit some of the youth athletes on our Kentucky Golden Eagles Track & Field team who could use a nice pair of running shoes! Thanks so much Running Warehouse!! We appreciate your generosity and support of the youth in our community!
